Bayern Munich midfielder Ze Roberto has not renewed his Bayern Munich contract is linked to a possible move to Greek Champions Olympiacos FC.

Ex-Brazil team-mate Rivaldo is said to have convinced the player for a move to the port city of Piraeus.

According to Brazilian and German press reports the transfer deal is said to have been agreed between Rivaldo and Ze Roberto. Negotiations for the transfer were assigned to Rivaldo by the Olympiacos president Sokratis Kokkalis.

No official confirmation on the move, however all major newspapers in Germany suggest that the deal has been finalised and that Ze Roberto agreed to move to Greece.

Olympiacos will be playing at next season's UEFA Champions League, which together with the fact that Rivaldo is also in the squad and the two will form great midfield duo make the move more appealing for Ze Roberto.

No official confirmation is expected before the World Cup 2006 tournament in Germany is finished, in which Brazil are defending their title.
