Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney has been spotted training for the first time since breaking a metatarsal in his foot at Stamford Bridge on April 29. The young England star was seen running, sprinting, making turns and kicking balls with both feet by members of the press pack who had gathered at Manchester United’s massive Carrington training complex, to watch the England squad training for tomorrow’s final warm-up match against Jamaica.

As soon as the onlooking media attention was noted, Rooney and the Manchester United physios he was training with moved to a more secluded area of the training facility to continue work on his rehabilitation.
