Wales trio, Danny Gabbidon,James Collins and Carl Fletcher, all play for newly promoted English Premiership side West Ham Utd, the team that nearly fourty years ago, produced three players who massively influenced the World Cup coming to England.

Geoff Hurst, who scored a hat trick against the then named West Germany, in England's famous 4-2 victory, Martin Peters, who scored the other goal, and Bobby Moore, arguably the greatest defender of all time. Now in the current World Cup qualifiers, the same team has produced another trio of players, this time playing for the principality of Wales.

The Welsh National Team may well be struggling in their quest for qualification, but their London based playing contingent are full of hope.Giant centre back James Collins said,"There are a few of us here at West Ham, and maybe the fact that we train together transfers onto the pitch for our country".

Defender Danny Gabbiodon, who played so well against England in the narrow 1-0 defeat, has only good things to say about being with his national team mates at club level. "It's a question of knowing who you are playing off, where they want the ball to go, and where and when they want you to be, in defence or attack, obviously our time spent on the training ground at West ham Utd has helped put us in good stead for our National appearances".

Wales take on Poland, with the outcome of the Match having a heavy influence on the Group's outcome, a win for the Welsh would severly jepordise Poland's hopes Of Automatic Qualification.
