Wales Striker Craig Bellamy Scores On Debut For Liverpool Against Wrexham After Blackburn Transfer
Wales international striker Craig Bellamy has scored his first goal for Liverpool FC on his debut for The Reds after his move from Blackburn Rovers this summer.
Bellamy, making his debut for The Reds in a pre-season friendly against Wrexham on Saturday, scored with a great strike eight minutes into the second-half.
Bellamy was played a wonderful lobbed pass by his strike partner Robbie Fowler, and Bellamy ran on to the left of the Wrexham penalty area, scoring with a beautiful left-footed strike through the legs of the Wrexham goalkeeper Jones to make it 2-0 after Paul Anderson opened the scoring in the 5th minute with another debut goal for Liverpool.
Bellamy was substituted just minutes later, to rapturous applause from the Liverpool fans at The Racecourse ground who will be excited about Bellamy's presence in the team after having lacked a pacy striker for so long.
