Valencia’s Argentine Centre-Back Roberto Ayala Names All-Star Team of 2006
Argentina captain and Valencia CF centre-back Roberto Ayala has named his personal team of the year 2006, as a prelude to the Europe’s team of 2006 (voted by uefa.com users) - results of which will be out on Friday.
One of the world’s best central defenders, the 33-year-old Ayala has included Premiership champions Chelsea’s Ivory Coast international striker Didier Drogba and England and Chelsea captain John Terry, centre-back, in the list which has six players from Spanish La Liga, posted on uefa.com.
