Uruguay v Peru Copa America Teamsheets: Chelsea's Pizarro Starts For Peru, Villareal's Forlan Joins Sánchez In La Celeste Attack

The starting line-up’s for Uruguay v Peru in the opening match in the Copa América 2007, Venezuela. Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro starts for Peru, with former Manchester United striker Diego Forlán, who now plays for Villarreal CF in Spain, leading the Uruguay attack.

The focus of the Peruvian attack will be on PSV Eindhoven striker Jefferson Farfan, who scored 21 goals in the Dutch league last season, with Hamburg SV striker Paolo Guerrero also starting for Peru.

Uruguay, one of the favourites in the tournament, will start the opening match of the Copa América without Inter Milan forward Álvaro Recoba, who has 58 caps and scored 12 goals for La Celeste, but instead will have the pairing of Diego Forlan and Toluca striker Vicente Sánchez up-front.
