Tunisia will host fellow African World Cup final qualifiers, Guus Hiddink's Ghana 'Black Stars', in the second of two friendly matches, planned for January 2006, in preparation for their defence of their African Nations Cup crown, the Tunisian Football Federation announced on Saturday.

Tunisia will initially host Libya on January the 12th, and then on to face Ghana on January the 15th.

Earlier this month, Tunisia were playing the Democratic Republic of Congo and were drawing 2-2 in a International friendly played in Charlety, Paris, but the match had to be abandoned in the 65th minute of the match, following the third pitch invasion by fans during the game.

Cameroon's planned friendly against Morocco, which was also being played in France, was called off in the aftermath of the disruption.

Tunisia’s last match was a 2-1 win over fellow African rivals, and hosts of the forthcoming African Nations Cup, Egypt, in a friendly on November the 16th away in Cairo. Tunisia are drawn to play in the Egyptian city of Alexandria during the African Nations Cup finals, being hosted by Egypt, which start on January the 20th 2006. Their group opponents will be Guinea, South Africa and Zambia.

Ghana’s Black Stars’ last match was an excellent away victory against Saudi Arabia in their first International friendly match in preparation for next year’s African Nations Cup and World Cup finals, by comfortably beating their fellow World Cup 2006 contenders Saudi Arabia 3-1 in Riyadh.

For the African Cup of Nations, Ghana have been drawn in the same group with Nigeria, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
