Tunisia Coach Roger Lemerre Names Squad To Face Serbia & Montenegro In World Cup Warm-Up Match

Tunisia coach Roger Lemerre has a 19-man squad for a World Cup warm-up match against fellow World Cup finalists Serbia and Montenegro on March 1, the Tunisian Football Federation has announced.

Lemerre’s only new face is the uncapped Bordeaux striker David Jameli who will join the Carthage Eagles squad for next Wednesday's friendly with Serbia & Montenegro.

Tunisia have been drawn in Group H with Saudi Arabia, Spain and Ukraine. They will be making their third consecutive appearance at the finals, and their fourth appearance in the World Cup Finals after also featuring in 1978.

Serbia and Montenegro have been drawn in one of the toughest groups in the Finals, Group C, with Argentina, Cote D'Ivoire and the Netherlands.

Tunisia squad to face Serbia and Montenegro (team to be chosen from):

Goalkeepers: Ali Boumnijel (Club Africain), Hamdi Kasraoui (Esperance).

Defenders: Hatem Trabelsi (Ajax Amsterdam), Karim Saidi (Lecce), Radhi Jaidi (Bolton Wanderers), Karim Hagui (Strasbourg), Jose Clayton (El Qatari), Alaeddine Yahia (St- Etienne).

Midfielders: Chawki Ben Saada (Bastia, France), Adel Chedli (Nuremberg), Kais Ghodhbane (Samsunspor, Turkey), Sofiane Militi (Kazintap, Turkey), Jawher Mnari (Nuremberg), Riadh Bouazizi (Kazintap, Turkey ), Hamed Namouchi (Glasgow Rangers), Karim Essidiri (FC Tromso, Norway).

Strikers: David Jameli (Bordeaux), Zied Jaziri (Troyes), Silva Dos Santos (Toulouse).
