Trinidad & Tobago have beaten Iceland 2-0 in their international friendly World Cup warm-up against Iceland at QPR's homeground, Loftus Rd, London.

T&T coach Leo Beenhakker fielded a virtually full strength team against Iceland in the first Europe based friendly for the Soca Warriors ahead of the World Cup Finals in June.

The Warriors took the lead in the 10th minute with T&T’s captain Dwight Yorke opening the scoreline for Leo Beenhakker’s team.

It was again the veteran Warriors captain Yorke who sealed the win in the 56th minute from the penalty-spot to give Leo Beenhakker's team the perfect start to their World Cup adventure.
