Togo national football team Coach Stephen Keshi sent a strong message to the Sparrowhawks in the African Cup of Nations that Togo will not go to Egypt for vacations.

"I don't think there's any player that goes on the pitch and wants to lose. I don't think my team is going to the African Nations to say... Oh, isn't Egypt beautiful," the Nigerian Coach said in an interview with Eurosport.

"We want to use the African Nations to grow, to improve our players and our skill. Since I came we've had about 18 months and it's not enough to build a team," he said, referring to his training plan for Togo's World Cup Squad.

"DR Congo has been one of the most powerful teams in the history of African football. There is good technique in players all over the field. They are very skilful players," Keshi said, referring to the difficulties faced by Togo in the African Nations Cup.

"They're all our big brothers, Congo, Cameroon, Angola... We're here to learn from these teams."

"Angola is a very tough team. I played against them for Nigeria.... it's a team I respect greatly. The coach also is someone I respect greatly."
