Togo’s Eperviers face Les Bleus of France in their final match in World Cup Group G encounter in Cologne on Friday, with France needing a win, with a two-goal advantage to be assured of a place in the knockout stages.

Les Bleus head coach Raymond Domenech has made some changes for their must-win match against Togo with their talismanic, but off-form captain Zinedine Zidane suspended for the match.

Franck Ribery replaces Zidane who is suspended, with Manchester United’s Mikael Silvestre coming in for left-back Eric Abidal who is also suspended.

France have started their other matches with Thierry Henry as a lone striker, but for this must win match, Juventus’ David Trezeguet is also joining Arsenal striker Thierry Henry in attack at the expense of Sylvain Wiltord.

Togo, who have no chance of qualifying for the knockout rounds, will be playing for pride and starting with the impressive substitute Yao Junior Senaya in attack, alongside Arsenal’s Emmanuel Adebayor, with Yao Aziawonou replacing Thomas Dossevi.

Togo will have their captain, defender Jean-Paul Abalo available for the match after returning from suspension.
