Unfortunately, for any team to qualify for the World Cup Finals 2006, there will always have to be teams who will be missing out.

There are many teams who are still involved in the qualifications for whom the match results are already academic.

These are the teams, and the qualifying groups that they are from, that have already definitely failed to qualify.

Here are the latest casualties:

European Section:

Group 1 Armenia, Andorra and Macedonia FYR.
Group 2 Kazakhstan.
Group 3 Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
Group 4 Cyprus and the Faroe Islands.
Group 5 Moldova.
Group 6 Wales, Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan.
Group 7 San Marino.
Group 8 Iceland and Malta.

African Section:

Group 1 Liberia and Mali and Congo.
Group 2 Uganda.
Group 3 Benin and Sudan.
Group 4 Rwanda and Algeria.
Group 5 Malawi.

Asian Section €“ Stage 3:

Group A Kuwait and Uzbekistan.
Group B Bahrain, Korea, *China (2nd round)

CONCACAF €“
North American Section:
Guatemala, Trinidad & Tobago and Panama.

South American Section:
Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru.

We all wish those teams the best of luck in the future.

More updates to follow very soon.
