Already, 27 of the 32 teams that will participate in the World Cup Finals next June have been decided. The five remaining places will be decided in five two-legged play-off's, all of which will be played on the 12th and 16th of November, and are as follows: The teams playing for the last three European Zone places are (teams placed first have first home-leg tie on the 12th November): Spain v Slovakia South America (CONMEBOL) Zone V Oceania Zone play-off: Uruguay V Australia (12th Nov) CONCACAF Zone V Asia Zone play-off: Trinidad & Tobago V Bahrain (12th Nov) The teams that have already booked their places in the World Cup Finals are: From the African Zone: Ghana Asian Zone: (4 Teams automatic entry, 5th place play off with CONCACAF zone 4th placed team) Teams Qualified: Japan European Zone: (14 Teams inc. hosts Germany) Teams Qualified: Germany (Hosts) North, Central American and Caribbean Zone (CONCACAF): (3 Teams automatic entry, 4th place play off with Asia zone 5th placed team) Teams Qualified: Mexico Oceanian Zone: Australia (To meet Uruguay from the South America Zone in play-off on the 12th and 16th of November) South American Zone: Teams Qualified: Brazil in favorites | email this page
