Young Boys midfielder Hakan Yakin has been ruled out of Switzerland's World Cup Playoffs Squad due to a thigh injury which has kept him out of action the last 8 weeks. Yakin's brother, Murat Yakin, has suffered an extra injury latel keeping him out of the squad as well. Coach Koebi Kuhn is likely to rely on the same team that faced France and the Republic of Ireland in the last two 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany Qualifiers. Sochaux midfielder Johann Lonfat is the only addition to the squad.
