Sweden's Ibrahimovic Set To Stay At Juventus Despite Chelsea Interest
Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly ready to sign a new contract at Juventus to put an end to speculation linking him with Chelsea.
It has been rumoured that the Swedish international was considering a move to Stamford Bridge if Roman Abramovich could meet his £80,000 per week wage demands.
But the Juventus striker, also rumoured to be joining Real Madrid, is reportedly ready to seal a new deal with the Serie A champions at the Stadio Delle Alpi.
Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has refused to confirm that a new contract will be signed, but denied rumours of the Premiership leaders making a move.
“Zlatan is attractive for any club,” Raiola told Expressen. “But only the big ones can afford him.”
Seemingly, to try and put an end to speculation, Raiola finished: ”There is no agreement with Chelsea.”
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is thought to be desperate for a new striker in the summer but now it seems top targets Ibrahimovic and AC Milan's Ukranian striker Andriy Shevchenko are now off his target-list.
