Striker Eidur Gudjohnsen Claims Barca Better Than Liverpool On Skill & Quality, But Slams Barcelona Team-Mates
Barcelona striker Eidur Gudjohnsen has taken a dig at the internal squabbles in Frank Rijkaard’s side, saying the players have to work together on the field even if they are not friends off it.
Barca, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool, have given enough indication that all is not well in the Catalan giants’ dressing room.
"We have got more skill and quality than Liverpool but if people don't make sacrifices and work full out then it isn't enough," the former Chelsea player told the Spanish media on Thursday.
"When everyone works hard then it improves the level of skill. For me Liverpool aren't a great team but they work together very well as a unit and that's what Barcelona are lacking.
"It doesn't mean we have to be friends outside the dressing-room but we all need to work together when we are on the pitch," the Iceland international summed up.
