Spurs' keeper Paul Robinson & Charlton's Luke Young Miss England Training Session For Poland Match. Gerrard Out of Match.

Spurs keeper Paul Robinson and Charlton Athletic right-back Luke Young both missed training on Monday, as the England squad began their preparations for the final World Cup qualifier with Poland in two days time.

Robinson was suffering from a tight thigh muscle while Young reported a dead leg to the England medical staff. Neither players injuries are thought to be too serious, and it is expected that they both should be fit to train on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's game.

With both England and Poland through, this may affect the "spectacle" of the match, since it is now between two teams that know qualification for the finals is assured. It is still in question as to how the seeding process will work in this group, so both teams should looking to secure top-spot in the group.

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, and Spurs' Sol Campbell are both injured, while Captain David Beckham is unavailable through suspension after being red-carded in England's match against Austria.

Liverpool midfielder Gerrard will miss the clash, which will decide who tops Group Six, after injuring his shin against Austria on Saturday.
