Spurs' Edgar Davids Wants Move To Ajax Amsterdam In Summer
Tottenham Hotspurs Dutch midfielder Edgar Davids has said the he wants to return to play football in Holland.
The former Juventus star has had a less than ideal season with Martin Jol's side, failing to secure a consistent first-team place in the Spurs side.
Davids has now indicated his wish to leave Spurs in the summer and has already been in talks with Ajax Amsterdam regarding a summer move.
Ajax manager Henk ten Cate revealed that he's spoken with Davids and he'd like a move back to the club very much. However, Ajax will have to pay the fee that Tottenham demand if they wish to get their hands on the former Oranje star.
The Ajax boss said:"I have talked to him on the phone and he thinks it is a terrific idea. It is now only a question of money."
