Spain's Torres Rumoured To Have Agreed Terms With Manchester United - Set To Partner Rooney Up-Front

Manchester United are heavily rumoured to have agreed personal terms with Spain striker Fernando Torres for a move from Spanish Primera Liga side Atlético Madrid after the World Cup Finals.

The club are also willing to sell the talented La Furia Roja star, who Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson sees as the perfect replacement for Ruud van Nistelrooy, who is expected to be sold after the Finals.

Torres is certain to be leaving Atlético in the summer and there has also been long-term interest from Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, but now it seems that he has opted for a move to Manchester. He is reported to be looking for a house, either in the city centre, or just outside the city.

The signing of Torres would see him in a striking partnership with England’s Wayne Rooney, a decent pairing indeed.
