Advocaat announced that the training camp for next summer's World Cup 2006 Finals will start on the 15th of January and will last for 6-weeks. The South Korean national football team will play a series of International Friendly Fixtures in order to prepare for it's World Cup Finals Group G opponents France, Switzerland and Togo. The World Cup Finals Squad will travel to Dubai where it will play against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) national football team on the 18th of January. South Korea will then play two International Friendlies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dick Advocaat's team will play against Euro 2004 Champions Greece on the 21st of January and against the Finland national football team on the 25th. South Korea are also playing at the Carlsberg Cup in Hong Kong. They will probably play against Croatia, Denmark or Hong Kong, although those fixtures are yet to be officially announced. On the 2nd of February the team is expected to land in Los Angeles, United States, where it will play another series of International Friendlies. On the 4th of February Dick Advocaat's team is scheduled to play against the USA. They will then play against local soccer team LA Galaxy, Costa Rica and Mexico. After those games, the team will travel to Glasgow in Scotland, where the players will relax and try to adapt and follow training sessions. in May 2006.
