Petition
I am a football fan and believe it is a passionate game and we are in danger of killing this passion with needless rules & regulations, thus I hereby ask the International F.A Board and FIFA to revoke the amendment to Rule 12 which states; "Footballers who remove their jerseys during post-goal celebrations are to receive automatic yellow cards". I would like the board to revert to their stance of 2001 at the 115th AGM of the IFAB being that; "The celebration of goals is only to be considered as a punishable offence if it borders on provocation or leads to time-wasting. Contrary to current regulations, it will no longer automatically be a cautionable offence if a player takes off his shirt to celebrate a goal. In this respect, the International F.A. Board and FIFA recognise the natural and emotional joy of scoring goals".
