Senegal's 'Teranga Lions' managed to win (World Cup Qualified) Ecuador thanks to a goal by Strasbourg FC's Sidi Keita in the 90th minute. Easy win for hosts Egypt against Uganda, who played with FC Masry's Hossam Hassan. Senegal were playing with one man down when Jacob Val was sent off in the 30th minute. Senegal's Mamadou Camara opened the score early in the first half, before Felix Borcha equalized for Ecuador in the 40th minute. But Sidi Keita netted the winning goal two minutes into time added on. Egypt easily won Uganda by 2-0 with Amr Zaki managing to score in each half. Uganda's Egyptian coach Mohammed Abbas was sent-off because of a technical offence. Egypt's veteran striker Hossam Hassan returned to the squad after a year-long absense. Senegal will play against LG-Cup Hosts Egypt in the final on the 29th of December. The LG-Cup is considered a good preparation tournament for the teams participating in the 2006 African Cup of Nations and the 2006 Germany World Cup. in favorites | email this page
