Saudi Arabia's Al Sugour World Cup Squad Announced - Captain Al-Jaber & Asian Player of the Year Hamad Al Montashari Named

Saudi Arabia head coach Marcos Paqueta has named his final squad of 23-players for the Al Sugour for the World Cup Finals in Germany, with inspirational captain Sami-Al-Jaber.

Nine of the players named for the Al Sugour – or Falcon’s - ply their trade in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh, for club-side Al Hilal.

Asian Champions Al Ittihad has seven players who are named in the squad, including current Asian Player of the Year Hamad Al Montashari.

The veteran Saudi Arabian captain and star striker Sami Al-Jaber, who plays for Al Hilal, will be leading the team to their fourth World Cup Finals, where they have been drawn in Group H, alongside Spain, Ukraine and Tunisia.
