Real Madrid’s Predrag Mijatovic Non-Committal On Fabio Capello’s Future – Reports Point To Bernd Schuster As Replacement
Real Madrid may be at the top of the Spanish La Liga for the first time in 19 months but the future of their coach Fabio Capello is far from being settled.
Sporting director Predrag Mijatovic told El Mundo newspaper: "(Capello has) another two years left on his contract and he is doing a good job, but we have to analyse the situation.
“In June we will know if we need to take another path or not."
He added: "Fabio deserves our respect and we are preparing for next season with him. But no coach can have the last word on transfers. We work as a club."
Capello has been criticised for his unappealing brand of football but has managed to keep Real in the title race.
The Spanish media is however reporting that the Italian could be replaced by Getafe's German coach Bernd Schuster. .
