Portugal Head Coach Scolari Claims No FA Interview For England Job
Portugal head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari say’s The Football Association has not interviewed him about succeeding Eriksson as England's next head coach.
Several newspaper reports in England have suggested the Brazilian World Cup winning coach was set to get the job after having an impressive second interview.
Scolari, who has reportedly been taking English lesson’s, said to BBC’s Radio Five Live said: “No, I don't have an interview.”
“I am coach of Portugal and I am only thinking and speaking about Portugal until the last day of the World Cup.”
Scolari, who previously spoke to Five Live's Sportsweek programme in February, added: “I said to the BBC... that I am happy that they (the FA) are thinking about me.
“But I have a contract with Portugal and I don't want to talk anything more about any contract until the last day of my job with Portugal.”
