Portugal's & Manchester United's Christiano Ronaldo Injury Worry - Player Leaves Pitch in Tears
Christiano Ronaldo was injured after a tackle on him during the knockout match between Portugal and Holland and had to be substituted before half-time. The Manchester United international adds to the injury worries to Portugal's coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
A tearful Ronaldo was substituted in the 34th minute, after suffering an injury in a high-tackle from Holland defender Khalid Boulahrouz.
Christiano Ronaldo tried to play for 10 minutes after the tackle, despite the pain, in order to see if it is something that could get looked after during half-time, before signalling to Scolari that he can not continue.
More information will be announced by the team in the post-match press conference.
