Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has expressed doubts over the fitness of Barcelona midfielder Deco ahead of Sunday's World Cup Group D game with Angola.

Deco missed training on Thursday following a challenge with teammate Costinha that left him nursing a sore foot. He was also expected to miss training on Friday.

"If the game was today he probably wouldn't play but as the match is the day after tomorrow there is still time for him to get fit," Scolari said at a press conference.

When asked if Deco were likely to be available for the match at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne, Scolari was unforthcoming. "You will find out the name of the 11 starting players on Sunday afternoon," he said. "I'm not going to confirm anything."
