Poland striker Grzegorz Rasiak Leaves Tottenham Hotspur On Loan Deal To Southampton FC
Poland striker Grzegorz Rasiak has left Tottenham Hotspur to join Southampton on loan for the rest of the season with an option of a permanent contract.
The 27 year-old Polish striker has only made 4 Premiership starts for Spurs since arriving last August, and Rasiak admits that’s why he decided to leave the North London club.
“It was hard for me at Tottenham because I did not play much and I need to be playing regularly, ready for the World Cup,” Rasiak told the Southampton FC official club website.
“But that is a long way off and now I have to concentrate on helping Southampton, starting with a big game at Reading on Friday.”
Rasiak has 21 International caps, and has scored 6 goals for Poland.
