Poland coach Pawel Janas has announced his squad for Poland's upcoming international friendly matches against the U.S.A and Kaiserslautern.

Janas has recalled the West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak, after an absence of almost two years, for Poland's two friendlies in the run-up to the World Cup Finals in June.

Janas named a 30-strong squad for the friendlies against Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern and Bruce Arena's U.S.A team, and the games will be played in Germany on February 28 and March 1. Janas has included Cyprus-based striker Lukasz Sosin, who may earn his first cap for his country.

Kuszczak has drawn wide acclaim in Poland for his consistent performances in the English Premier League over the last two seasons.

Kuszczak will be competing for a place with Liverpool's Jerzy Dudek, Celtic's Artur Boruc and Spartak Moscow keeper Wojciech Kowalewski for a maximum of three goalkeeping places in Janas' final World Cup squad.

Poland have been drawn in Group A in the World Cup Finals, and face Germany, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
