Poland have beaten fellow World Cup finalist’s, Saudi Arabia, in their international friendly match at the King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi Arabia.

The visitor’s took the lead in the 7th minute, with the opening goal of the first- half being scored by Apollon Limassol FC striker Lukasz Sosin.

Redha Tukar equalised for the Saudi’s in the 27th minute to take the teams into the half-time break level at 1-1.

Saudi Arabia coach Marcos Paqueta has started with their star player and Saudi captain, striker Sami Al-Jaber on the bench, but brought the legendary forward on in the 60th minute of the second-half.

But, within minutes of Al-Jaber’s introduction the Poles took the lead again with the second strike from on-form striker Lukasz Sosin in the 63rd minute and the Saudi’s couldn’t find their way through the Polish defence to find an equaliser.

Pawel Janus’ team held their lead to give the European team a valuable away win in their warm-up schedule in preparation for the World Cup Finals in June.
