Paraguay face Trinidad & Tobago’s Warriors in a must win World Cup Group B match for Trinidad and Tobago at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion in Kaiserslautern on Tuesday.

Paraguay have no chance of reaching the last sixteen, but Trinidad and Tobago need a convincing win, and for Sweden to lose their Group B match against England, to progress to the knockout stages in their debut appearance in the World Cup Finals.

T&T head coach Leo Beenhakker is expected to make few changes from the side that were narrowly beaten 2-0 by England.

One change that is sure is that the injured defender Cyd Gray will replaced in by Avery John, who returns from suspension.

Dundee keeper Kelvin Jack Is back from Injury, but is unlikely to replace Shaka Hislop, who has been on fire for The Warriors, making some terrific saves in the match against England.

West Ham’s Hislop is determined to get a result and said: “We were written off before the tournament began, but we have shown we deserve to be taken seriously.”

Paraguay head coach Anibal Ruiz will probably stick with two strikers up-front, although he could play a lone striker for the match.

Paraguay's first choice goalkeeper Justo Villar will miss the match after pulling a thigh muscle after only eight minutes of the match against England and will be replaced by Aldo Bobadilla.

Midfielder Carlos Bonet is out with a strained hamstring and is likely to be replaced by Julio Dos Santos.

Paraguay are out of the Finals and have left the Paraguay boss rueing missed chances saying: “I am so sad we lost both games but they were narrow defeats by England and Sweden.

“The players have no reason to blame themselves. Now we must do our best and produce a good performance and try to beat Trinidad.”
