World Cup finalist’s Paraguay have drawn 1-1 with Denmark in an international friendly match at the Aarhus Stadion in Denmark, as Anibal Ruiz’s team prepare for the Finals in Germany.

The South American’s, who have been drawn in the same group as England in the tournament in Germany, opened the scoring in the 20th minute, with a strike from striker Jose Saturnino Cardozo.

The hosts pulled back an equalising goal early in the second-half with a strike from ex-AC Milan forward Jon Dahl Tomasson to draw things level and neither side could find a breakthrough.

Paraguay have been drawn in Group B in the World Cup Finals, alongside England, Trinidad and Tobago and Sweden.
