New England Head Coach To Be Named Today

The FA are due to announce the new England head coach later on today (Thursday). The new England manager will take over after the World Cup Finals when current boss Sven Goran Eriksson steps down.

Middlesbrough manager and England team coach Steve McClaren is the favourite to succeed Eriksson after Portugal head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari withdrew from the running after claiming that the media intrusion was too much.
