The Mexican Football Federation unveiled its plans for Mexico's World Cup Squad preparation ahead of next summer's World Cup Soccer tournament. The friendly matches will take place from the 25th of January until early May 2006.

Mexico will play against another three teams that have qualified for the World Cup, Ghana, the Korea Republic and Paraguay. The first match on the 25th of January will be against Europe's Norway in San Francisco Monster Park and then Mexico will play against the Korea Republic on February the 15th in Los Angeles.

The team will have to travel twice to the US in March, playing against Ghana on the 1st and against Paraguay on the 29th.

In their previous US tour, Mexico had a crowd of approximately 40,000 supporting them at the US venues. This is mainly because the two countries share common borders and there are many Mexicans who have migrated to the United States.
