Manchester City's Claudio Reyna Hoping To Be Fit To Captain Bruce Arena's USA At World Cup Finals
USA and Manchester City midfielder Claudio Reyna is recovering from his injury, and is expected to play for City's reserves in the coming days.
32-year-old Reyna was injured in Manchester City's 4-3 defeat to Wigan Athletic on December 26, and has been on the sidelines until now.
The captain of the U.S. National team for several years now, Reyna is one of the premier center midfielders in the history of American soccer, and guided the US team to the World Cup Finals in Korea/Japan in 2002.
Reyna is among the most experienced American players, with 107 international caps, and 8 goals to his name, and desperately hopes that he will be fit in time for the Finals in June.
