Liverpool's Carling Cup Quarter Final Match Against Arsenal Re-Scheduled For January 2007

Tuesday's Carling Cup Quarter Final clash between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield that was called off due to heavy fog, has been re-scheduled for January 9, 2007.

The game on Tuesday was cancelled by referee Martin Atkinson after a pitch inspection found conditions unsuitable to play because of heavy fog in the stadium.

Both teams face heavy fixture congestion early in the new year.
