Juventus head coach Fabio Capello has stated that it would be his life's dream to coach the England national football team.

"Within three years I will pack in coaching at club level and then I want to realise the dream I have always had inside me... England," Capello said in an interview with the weekly magazine L'Expresso, due to be published on Friday.

England are looking for a new coach to replace Swede Sven-Goran Eriksson who is leaving the post after the World Cup in June.

Capello has already been linked to the England coaching post, but recently said he intends to stay with the Serie A giants for the coming season.

Italian champions Juventus lead Serie A by 10 points from AC Milan and face Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals next week.

Capello, who has won league titles with both AC Milan and Roma, has recently been linked with a return to Real Madrid.

Capello said that if he succeeded in achieving his dream he would than consider retiring from coaching.

"After that I might get away from it all. I have bought a house on (the island of) Pantelleria for that reason," said the Italian.
