Mexico’s all-time leading goalscorer, Jared Borgetti has injured his hamstring, and the initial signs look like he will play no further part in the World Cup Finals.

Borgetti, who plays for Bolton Wanderers, pulled his hamstring early in the second-half of Mexico's opening Group D match against Iran, and now looks unlikely to be able to regain fitness in time to play any further part in the tournament in Germany.
