Japan to Play Against Finland in Preparation for the World Cup 2006 Tournament
Japanese Football Association (JFA) President Saburo Kawabuchi announced in a short press conference another preparation match, ahead of the June 2006 World Cup Finals.
The game will be played in Japan, after the team's friendly match against the USA on the 10th of February in the United States. The team will then fly back to Japan to prepare for the February the 18th faceoff against Finland.
Kawabuchi also said that another friendly match against Ecuador was being arranged. Japan will play against World Cup 2006 Hosts Germany in their last preparation match to be played approximately 10 days before the tournament kicks-off on May the 30th.
Japan face fellow Group F team Australia in Kaiserslautern Stadium on June the 12th and Croatia in Nuremburg Stadium on June the 18th, before they head to Dortmund Stadium for their final game against coach Zico's homeland Brazil on June the 22nd.
