The Elephants of Ivory Coast face Serbia and Montenegro in their last World Cup Group C encounter at the AllianzArena in Munich on Wednesday.

Neither team has a chance of progressing to the next stage of the tournament, having both lost their opening two matches, but both teams will be looking to secure a win to restore some pride.

Ivory Coast, who are appearing in the World Cup Finals for the first time, have no injury worries for the match and head coach Henri Michel can choose from a full-strength squad, with the exception of Chelsea striker Didier Drogba who is suspended for the match after receiving two yellow-cards.

Auxerre midfielder Kanga Gauthier Akale starts the match, with Henri Michel hinting that he may use this opportunity to play some other youngsters that haven’t featured so far in the tournament.

Serbia & Montenegro are without the suspended Mateja Kezman who received a red-card in the last match, along with Portsmouth midfielder Ognjen Koroman.

Ivica Dragutinovic, Dusan Basta, Albert Nadj and Danijel Ljuboja are all out of the starting line-up for Serbia and Montenegro head coach Iliya Petkovic who will be retiring from his post after this match.
