Ivory Coast Manager Henri Michel Names 27-Man Squad For United Arab Emirates Training Camp

The Ivory Coast camp is part of the team's preparations for the African Cup of Nations, due to begin in about 2 weeks. The Elephants will face Morocco in their opening match on the 21st of January, followed by Egypt and Libya.

Esperance goalkeeper Jean-Jacques Tizie returns from injury that has kept him out of action for the last five months. Chelsea's Didier Drogba, Olympiacos FC's Yaya Toure, Paris St Germain's Bonaventure Kalou and Arsenal's Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue were pretty much expected to receive a call-up.

Beveren's duo Seydou Kante and Marco Ne, who play in the Belgium League, have received callups to the Ivory Coast national football squad for the first time by Henry Michel.
