Ilija Petkovic's Serbia and Montenegro To Face Uruguay In Teams Final International Friendly Before The World Cup Begins

Serbia and Montenegro will play Uruguay in Belgrade on May 27 in a their final warm-up friendly match for the World Cup finals, the Serbia and Montenegro Football Federation Association (FSSCG) have confirmed.

“A friendly match against Uruguay will be an excellent final test for the World Cup,” the FSSCG said in a statement on Wednesday.

Uruguay failed to qualify for the finals in Germany after losing out on penalties to Australia in the South America/Oceania two-legged play-off.

Serbia and Montenegro have been drawn in Group C alongside the Netherlands, Argentina and Ivory Coast in the World Cup Finals, which begins on June 9.
