Guus Hiddink's Socceroos To Play Euro Champions Greece In Last World Cup Warm-Up Match On Home Soil
Guus Hiddink’s Socceroos have scheduled an International friendly match against the current European Champions Greece in their last match on home soil before they travel to Germany for the World Cup Finals.
Australia will play their World Cup warm-up friendly against Greece at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on May 25, Football Federation Australia confirmed on Thursday. It will be the Socceroos' last home match before the World Cup kicks-off in Berlin on June 9.
Australia have been drawn in Group F with Japan, Brazil and Croatia, with their first Group F match against Japan on June 12 in Kaiserslautern.
