In Group 4 of the FIFA World Cup 2006 qualifying zone, Angola, who are currently leading the group above the previous group favourites, and World Cup final regulars, Nigeria's "Super Eagles", on goal difference will want to take all three points against Gabon later today.

With both teams level on 15 points, Angola are lining up to play at home against Gabon, and, as they proved against Nigeria in their 1-0 win earlier, they are experts at grinding out one-goal home victories, and should be able to come through win their game against Gabon, (on 7 points).

Nigeria meanwhile, who face 5th placed Algeria who are on 7 pts, and so cannot qualify for the finals, will sorely miss their injured midfield play-maker, Bolton Wanderers FC's "Jay Jay" Okocha.

Samuel Eto'o will be leading the strike-force for Nigeria, but the "Super Eagles" will face a tough challenge, from an Algerian team who has so far underachieved in this campaign, and who are out of the running for a place in the finals. The Algerians may well have a point to prove.

With Zimbabwe meeting Rwanda in an unimportant match, it is between Angola and Nigeria for the top-spot.

Angola could qualify for the finals in Germany tomorrow, in the unlikely, but possible circumstances of them winning against Gabon in Luanda, with their Group 4 rivals Nigeria losing to Algeria, and third-placed Zimbabwe do not collect maximum points against Rwanda in Harare.
