Manchester United’s Ryan Giggs and Blackburn striker Craig Bellamy have both pulled-out of Wales' international friendly match against World Cup qualifiers Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday.

Wales’ skipper Giggs is going to miss the match in Graz, Austria after he damaged a toe in Sunday's 1-0 win over a Basque representative side in Bilbao, Spain, having scored the second-half winner to bring his recent goal-scoring tally to four goals in his last four appearances for his country.

The Manchester United veteran had no visible injury after the Basque match, but since the game has been unable to train at Wales team’s training camp near San Sebastian in North Spain.

Giggs sat out Wednesday's training session, which caused head coach John Toshack to decide that there was no point in taking him to Austria for the friendly clash against the Soca Warriors.

Bellamy, who is getting married in two weeks time, has also been released from the squad travelling to Austria, with Toshack planning to play several Welsh youngsters, including Bristol City's David Cotterill in the starting line-up.

Giggs' appearance in the game in Athletic Bilbao's stadium against the Basque’s was his first-ever away international friendly for his country, but now the opportunity of playing his second, against the captain of Trinidad and Tobago and his former Manchester United colleague Dwight Yorke has now gone.

Trinidad and Tobago's Warriors have been drawn in Group B in the World Cup Finals, alongside England, Paraguay and Sweden.
