FIFA World Cup finalists Ghana have cancelled a friendly in Iran at the end of March because they do not have a full-strength squad available for the World Cup warm-up friendly, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced.

Ghana said they were unable to call up the majority of their first-choice squad members, most of whom are based in Europe, because the scheduled date of March 29 did not coincide with FIFA's international calendar, when clubs are forced to release players for international duty.

The GFA have now confirmed that Ghana's Black Stars will play a friendly match against fellow World Cup finalist's Korea Republic in Glasgow, Scotland on 4 June, prior to their arrival in Germany for the month-long tournament which begins on 9 June.

Black Stars head coach Ratomir Dujkovic's Ghana have been drawn in Group E, alongside the Czech Republic, Italy and the United States.
