Playing down German fans fears that Germany won't be able to lift the trophy for next year's tournament, Germany Coach Jurgen Klinnsmann said that a few workouts he plans during the national football team's training camp will be the key to Germany's performance.

Recent surveys conducted among the German public have indicated that nearly 39% of Germans believe that their national squad will not lift the World Cup Trophy in their homeland.

Klinnsmann said about a month ago that getting to the quarter finals of the 2006 World Cup would be a success for the German team. He now says that the team can lift the trophy and that he is confident with his current squad.

Possibly Leipzig's draw which seeded Costa Rica, Poland and Ecuador in Germany's Group A was the reason for the shift in Klinnsmann's comments.

In a short comment to Germany's newspaper "Bild" Jurgen Klinnsmann spoke about Germany's World Cup preparations and also his thoughts on the national football team's success.

"I am convinced that it will be a tremendous World Cup. We have already booked our hotel rooms in Berlin. We will go all the way because we saw during the Confederation Cup that we are getting the balance of the team right."

"We are sure we are on course and we will use the next few months to fine tune things. We will then be very difficult to beat."
