Germany v Sweden - Starting Line-Ups - No Major Changes for Klinsmann - Jonson Replaces Allback for LagerbackSubmitted by Pavlos Skoufis on Sat, 24/06/2006 - 15:19.
Full starting line-ups for the opening match of the knockout stages between Germany and Sweden. Both teams go into the match without injury worries, although it remains to be seen if Zlatan Ibrahimovic has fully recovered from his injury. Both teams will seek a goal in the first few minutes of the match, as nothing can be taken for granted. Some consider Sweden as the underdogs in the match, as Germany will have the full support by it's fans. Germany's coach Jurgen Klinsmann relies much on the players who were in the starting line-up in the group stage matches. Mattias Jonson comes into the starting lineup, replacing Marcus Allback for Sweden's coach Lars Lagerback.
