Germany Confirm International Friendly With Luxembourg In Addition To Japan & Columbia Prior To World Cup
Germany has added another World Cup warm-up game to their schedule and will play European minnows Luxembourg on May 27 in Freiburg, Germany.
The German squad have scheduled two training camp’s for the team to gel, one on the Italian island of Sardinia and one near Geneva, Switzerland, the Germany Soccer Federation said on Wednesday.
Germany have also arranged matches against Japan on May 30 and Colombia on June 2 prior to the tournament kick-off.
Germany have been drawn in Group A in the World Cup Finals, alongside Poland Ecuador and Costa Rica.
Germany, as hosts of the 2006 World Cup Finals, play the first match of the month long tournament, kicking-off against Costa Rica on June 9.
