German coach Jurgen Klinsmann Advises Robert Huth to Stay With Premiership Champions Chelsea FCSubmitted by Pavlos Skoufis on Wed, 14/12/2005 - 17:30.
Klinsmann believes that Huth has a lot to learn under Mourinho rather than trying to find a team to play on a loan. Robert Huth, the giant German defender has failed to convince Coach Jose Mourinho, and has played just a bit-part in Chelsea's season so far. There are rumours that Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach are interested to get Huth on a loan from Chelsea when January's transfer period starts, a move which seems to be favoured by Chelsea officials. Huth is eager for a place in Klinsmann's squad for the World Cup 2006 Finals next summer. However the German coach does not believe such a move would benefit Huth, as his team-mates John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho and William Gallas are top quality players and he can learn a lot from them. "We believe he can learn a lot from John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho and William Gallas because they are all experienced defenders. But he has to fight his way through and challenge those guys to one day take their place. We have to hope he will get his games, especially with the FA Cup starting and Chelsea still in the Champions League." said Klinsmann. in favorites | email this page
